Because he helped Purbasari and helped heal her wounds

• Purbasari was expelled from the palace because suddenly black spots covered her skin. People fear the disease is contagious.

• After Purbasari returned to her usual beauty and returned to the palace, everyone was happy, except for Purbararang. Purbararang made Purbasari sick because Prabu Tapa Agung decided to crown Purbasari. After Purbasari returned, Purbararang devised a plan to get rid of Purbasari again, namely by holding a contest which had a more handsome fiancé, would win the contest.
